Michael “Mike” Lawton is the Founder and CEO of Tranquility Therapeutic Touch LLC Massage & Wellness and a Georgia licensed massage therapist. He created Tranquility Therapeutic Touch to offer more than a routine appointment. His vision is to provide a calm, professional environment where clients can step away from everyday demands, receive attentive care, and leave feeling renewed.
Michael graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Middle Georgia State University. His background includes working with senior adults and individuals with special needs, observing functional limitations, supporting personalized goals, and understanding how comfort, mobility, and daily activities can influence a person’s quality of life.
He later expanded his therapeutic skill set through professional massage therapy training at Georgia Massage School. His experience includes spa, chiropractic, corporate wellness, chair massage, veteran support, and clinical or medical-massage environments. This background strengthens his ability to listen carefully, recognize individual needs, and create massage sessions that are thoughtful, respectful, and personalized.
Michael believes that quality care begins with listening. Each appointment is shaped around the client’s goals, comfort, pressure preferences, areas of concern, and desired experience. No two clients are treated exactly the same because no two bodies, lifestyles, or wellness goals are identical.
His standard is simple: every client should feel respected, unhurried, professionally cared for, and confident that the session was designed with intention.
